i feel a little wobbly, even though i'm sitting down. perhaps i'm too used to the bus stops of Venice and find it strange to be back at school after spending a long weekend there. but i don't think we were there for long enough. if we hadn't missed our flight, perhaps we'd've taken a walking tour and seen Basilica di San Marco, or visited Casanova's cell, or had luncheon in Café Florian. ahh, but i must refrain from complaining about it, for i've promised myself that i shall return to the city as soon as the colours of my apartment have been painted and the upholstery in place; many years from now. it was a nice weekend as it was anyhow, many hours were spent merely wandering around the narrow streets - i adore my sister for having gaped and gasped as much as i did.

a major blow to this holiday was coming back to find that my Colorsplash had not yet arrived. the sooner it comes, the sooner i shall have more deviations. it has been an awful long while since i've posted anything, i know.
